LASCHAL® was founded by dental practitioner, Dr. Jeffrey Lasner, in the late 1970’s and with his sons, he set out to meet the need for superior, precise dental instruments that would work the first time. This will afford fellow dental surgeons the ability to provide superior care for the mouth to re-capture the smile of teeth.

LASCHAL® products. Our team is always available to assist you.
LASCHAL® is dedicated to the advancement of the instruments being used by professionals. As technology, materials, and engineering continue to evolve, many traditional instruments and procedures are changing to help provide superior services. Whether it’s a specific procedure like removing a broken file or an everyday routine such as removing a suture, the right instruments can make all the difference. Many of our LASCHAL® instruments are designs requested by “out of the box” thinkers.
LASCHAL® has been designing and manufacturing custom dental and surgical instruments for four decades.
Founder Dr. Jeffrey Lasner has spent four decades consulting and listening to many of the top dental professionals around the world. The results are an advancement in design and manufacturing that has created the finest instruments being used today. Many of these instruments have been used in teaching surgeries by the top professionals in the industry.
LASCHAL® has been able to design and engineer world-class instruments due to our proprietary SONIC STEEL® material. Unlike traditional stainless or carbon steel instruments that are very rigid and therefore break easily, the LASCHAL® material is light and more flexible, enabling our designs to perform at superior levels. But don’t let the featherweight fool you, these instruments last greater than 10x as long as their traditional stainless steel counterparts being used throughout the industry.
At LASCHAL®, it’s our mission to continue to provide innovative, reliable and superior instruments and products for many years to come.
40 Years of Excellence
Having designed surgical instruments for many years, Dr. Jeffrey Lasner and his team sought to identify WHY scissors and forceps inevitably failed during surgery. In stainless steel and titanium instruments, repeated ultrasonic bombardment during the sterilization process was acknowledged as the catalyst of decay. Simple enough, a new, ultrasonic-friendly alloy was needed, so instruments would survive sterilization and remain reliable.
Introducing
SONIC STEEL® has unique properties. It is lighter than titanium, stronger than stainless steel, and flexible. It allows the development of instruments, and capabilities that are not possible with traditional metals.
– LASCHAL® needle holders resist bending out of shape
– The new locking mechanism for needle holders (THUMLOK®) that never freezes or fails to disengage the needle is a fan favorite
– Liquid Scissors technology… These scissors cut all the way to the point for YEARS, without becoming loose or splayed
– Tissue forceps that secure soft tissue with at least 80% less applied force than all others
– These new instruments produce a tactile feel most surgeons will never experience
